Editorial policy
Active Racing Journal aims to make racing topics clear, specific and worth thinking about. We distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid unsupported certainty and correct published errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and scope
We take care to describe formats, equipment and customs in terms a general reader can follow. Where a subject varies between events or kinds of racing, we say so rather than imply there is one universal practice. We do not present our articles as professional instruction or a substitute for event-specific information.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly identified as such, and a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage. We do not imply independent testing or personal experience unless the article can support that description.
Corrections and illustrations
Readers can send corrections through the Contact page. We review credible reports, amend material when warranted and make significant corrections clear to readers. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; they are illustrative rather than documentary and should not be treated as evidence of a particular event, person or item.
