Write for us
We welcome considered pitches on racing formats, preparation, equipment choices, event customs and the history of racing. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to understand the idea before a draft is written.
A pitch with a clear centre
Tell us the working title, the main question or idea, the intended reader and what makes the subject worth exploring. A strong pitch has one defined angle, useful scope and a clear distinction from general advice or performance promises.
What suits the publication
We look for accurate, original writing that explains rather than oversells. Useful proposals may compare options, unpack a racing format, trace a custom or describe a low-stakes planning choice. Avoid claims that depend on unsupported research, confidential information, hazardous instructions or professional expertise.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a concise summary and any relevant context about the proposed piece. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication, and we may ask for a narrower focus or further clarification.
